WildAid aims to protect and enhance the natural environment by having public awareness and education at our core.
WildAid reaches out not only to those who already care for wildlife but also to people that do not have the opportunity to be involved with nature.
The world in which we live today has encouraged many people to feel removed from the natural world. Nature Deficit Disorder describes “a lack of relationship” to the environment, in short, not getting out there! WildAid is working to reconnect people to nature and to help us appreciate the influence that our lifestyle choices will have on wildlife now and in future generations.
We believe that feeling connected to wildlife protects wildlife and with your help we can make positive changes in our world.
“People are more likely to support and care about the establishment and maintenance of an ecological network if they have direct experience of wildlife and are aware of the benefits they receive from it.”
